About the role

As the Retail Shop Coordinator you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our retail store in Nuriootpa, SA. This part-time position is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the store, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our mission of providing vital community services.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and stock management
  2. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming, organised shopping environment
  3. Coordinating and supervising the work of volunteers to maintain high standards of presentation and organisation while following WHS procedures
  4. Monitoring and reporting on store performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
  5. Assisting with the processing and display of donated goods in line with company policies

What we're looking for

  1. Retail or customer service experience
  2. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  4. A demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer service
  5. The ability to work collaboratively with a team of volunteers and follow policy and procedures
  6. A passion for contributing to the local community and supporting the objectives of Lifeline Regional SA and Far West NSW
