Job Title: Shop Operations Coordinator

The Consumer and Community Engagement Division is seeking a Shop Operations Coordinator to join their team. This role will play a key coordination role in the planning and delivery of operational, administrative, and marketing functions that support the ongoing operation and continual improvement of the Rainbows and Vic's volunteer shops.

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the shops to maximise efficiency and safety.
  • Supervise and train volunteers on shop operations, financial reporting, and food safety.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve shop performance and customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have experience in retail or shop management, and be able to provide excellent customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail or shop management
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
