Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in metal fabrication and installation. This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee projects from initial purchase order through to final completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end project oversight, from purchase order to design, fabrication, installation, and client handover.
  • Liaise with clients, designers, and internal teams to ensure project scope and expectations are clearly defined and met.
  • Monitor and manage fabrication and installation processes across light to heavy structural steel projects.
  • Schedule and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient resource allocation and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and manage project variations, ensuring scope clarity and budget control.
  • Drive projects to completion with a zero-defect mindset, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of quality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a positive team culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualification in metal fabrication or related field (essential).
  • Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and installation, including both light and heavy structures.
  • Strong background in commercial and high-end residential projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent understanding of project completions, scope management, and variation control.
  • Strong time management and budgeting skills, with a focus on delivering within allocated hours.
  • Passion for excellence and commitment to working within a collaborative team environment.
