About the Role:

An established educational organisation is seeking a Administrative Assistant for a
6-month fixed term contract
. This role is integral to ensuring smooth administrative and operational support across NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across regional operations, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
  • Coordinate facilities, transport logistics, WHS processes, and other regional operational initiatives.
  • Manage procurement activities including purchase orders, supplier coordination, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation for operational and HR-related information.
  • Oversee staff uniform accounts and manage records for employee benefits and memberships.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, device allocation, and access management.
  • Deliver first-line IT and helpdesk support, resolving basic technical issues and escalating when required.
  • Maintain internal support platforms, update policies and resources, and coordinate IT equipment orders and setup.
  • Assist in planning and delivering regional events, and support internal communications across digital platforms.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, contribute to cross-functional projects, and promote collaboration across teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven administration experience with strong organisational, interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing operational support tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant digital platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
  • Experience in educational, non-profit, or corporate environments.
  • Familiarity with procurement, purchase orders, and invoicing.
  • Experience with ticketed support systems and IT order processing.
