* Qualified mechanic with at least 5 years of working experience

* RWC license not required but is an advantage

* Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

* Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic components to repair, maintain, and upgrade systems

* Conducting routine maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts, and adjusting components aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity

* Troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality

* Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists about good vehicle usage

* Repair or replace broken of faulty parts and fix issues

* Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job

* Keep work and issue logs

* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

* Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including fluid changes, tyre replacements, suspension/steering repairs, and OBD scanning

* Must be willing to upskill and keep working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair

* Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customer problems and provide accurate repair recommendations

* Inspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safety

* Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness

* Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and company records

* Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
