Heavy Vehicle Trailer Mechanic – Full-Time

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Vehicle Trailer Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time day shift position, with the option to transition to an afternoon shift once established.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, repairs, and major servicing of heavy vehicle trailers
  • Perform minor electrical repairs on trailers
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Carry out tasks involving heavy lifting
  • Support general workshop duties related to trailer maintenance

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy vehicle trailer systems and components
  • A problem-solving mindset and proactive work ethic
  • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in mechanical repairs and servicing of semi-trailers

Desirable:

  • A Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence (advantageous but not essential)
