Location: Kiama or Bomaderry (with travel between sites)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: $87, $93,931.50 p.a. + annual leave loading + super
Are you passionate about vocational education and ready to lead high-quality training programs that make a real difference in people's lives? Kiama Community College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Course Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role
As Course Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of accredited training programs in areas such as Business, IT & Digital Literacy, and Hospitality. You'll support trainers and students, ensure compliance with ASQA standards, and engage with industry to align training with workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead course planning, delivery, and assessment strategies
• Provide educational leadership and support to trainers
• Ensure student engagement, wellbeing, and retention
• Maintain strong industry and stakeholder relationships
• Oversee compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to marketing and promotion of courses
What You'll Bring
• Minimum 5 years' experience in vocational education and training
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of ASQA standards and RTO compliance
• Proven ability to manage programs and lead teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• C Class Driver's Licence
