About the role

As the Operations Supervisor at PURE ENVIRONMENTAL, you will play a vital role in leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our industrial services and logistics teams. This full-time position is based in Rockingham, WA 6168, and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of industrial services and logistics teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Coordinating specific projects, specific contracts, working alongside the Operations Manager, Marine Supervisor and Works Coordinator.
  • Providing leadership, coaching, and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment and driving a positive culture aligned with Pure's values.
  • Oversee fleet maintenance and driver training requirements in accordance with Heavy Vehicle Accreditation.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to drive increased efficiency.
  • Reporting on key performance metrics and providing recommendations to management
  • Promoting and monitoring compliance with all company health, safety, environmental and quality policies, and procedures and work instructions.
  • Assisting with the training and development of team members.
  • Maintaining good customer relationships through site visits and inspections.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (5+ years) in a supervisory or team leader role within an industrial services, transport, or logistics environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work culture
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
  • Practical operational experience in industrial services
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake routine administrative work
