About the role

Dirty Harry's Bar & Grill Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Manager to oversee the operations of our new establishment in Bowen Hills, QLD. As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the bar and restaurant, while also driving initiatives to enhance the customer experience and grow our business. This is a full-time position based in our Bowen Hills location.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee all day-to-day operations of the venue, including staffing, inventory, and financial management
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and optimise the overall performance of the venue
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
  4. Manage and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
  5. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar venue management role within the hospitality industry
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  3. Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  4. Thorough understanding of liquor licensing laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and other industry-specific compliance requirements
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
