Lucky Star Tavern is looking for an enthusiastic Duty Manager to join it's already passionate team. The successful candidate will have a broad range of skills and be hands on - this is not an office-based position

Reporting to the Venue Manager, this position offers the platform to showcase your skills and talent in our ever-changing industry and, an opportunity to work as a part of our growing team.

The Position

  • Manage all shift operations
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Gaming, Liquor and Food Licences
  • Maintain impeccable standards of venue presentation and cleanliness
  • Ensure our customer expectations are exceeded at every interaction
  • Oversee service daily, while ensuring all administrative duties are completed within given timeframes
  • Drive promotional activities
  • Ensure all WH&S procedures are adhered to

The Leader (the successful candidate)

  • Sound knowledge across all departments including Gaming, Bistro and Bar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment and passion to the industry
  • A cheerful, positive attitude towards your work, customers and team members
  • Work well under pressure and be able to multi-task
  • Show willingness to use initiative
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager OR be ready to take the next step in your hospitality career
  • Current Approved Managers, RMLV, RSA & RSG
