How this role supports our work
Focusing on developing and implementing supporter journeys across multiple channels for a specific supporter segment, this role spans the supporter decision process across 'lifecycle' stages encompassing reach, act, convert and engage. This position aims to acquire, convert, retain, re-engage and inspire supporters for long term sustainable growth.
As Senior Segment Manager you will be a strategist and leader for a specific segment of the Australian market, ensuring revenue growth success through informed decision-making and effective collaboration.
What you will do day to day
- Analyse market trends, supporter needs and competitive landscapes
- Strategy development and product alignment
- Collaborate closely with product development, finance, data & analytics and marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution
- Lead and inform a Delivery team including Coordinators, internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Direct the Delivery Team through informed decision making to execute and deliver tailored customer journeys to achieve revenue objectives across the full spectrum of outbound channels
What you will bring
- Ability to conduct thorough research to understand the characteristics, needs, and behaviours of their target customers within a specific market segment.
- Proven success in a leadership role within Fundraising, Product Management, or Business Strategy
- Experience working with product development teams to ensure that products and services are aligned with the specific needs and preferences of their target supporters.
- Proven success in developing targeted campaigns and initiatives to reach and engage supporters within a segment.
- Track KPIs within their segment, analyse results, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Monitor competitor activities and strategies within the segment to identify opportunities and threats.
- A Supporter-Centric Mindset: Prioritising understanding supporter needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Exposure to, and experience using, platforms like D365 CRM, CID, EDP, Power BI. As well as automation tools to streamline segmentation and outreach
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field and/or relevant substantial experience with further professional development or studies undertaken
