• Coordinate the interface between engineering, purchasing, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless execution and commercial control.
• Support and mentor state managers and assistant managers to maintain consistent national standards.
• Implement and monitor KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead continuous improvement in systems, reporting, and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with WHS and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
About You
You are an experienced, commercially minded operations leader who thrives in a technical, fast-moving environment. You balance strategic oversight with hands-on management and know how to lift project profitability through planning, contractor utilisation, and cost control.
You will bring:
• 8+ years' experience in national or multi-site operations, ideally within automation, technical services, infrastructure, or engineering.
• Proven experience in project delivery management, tracking budget vs actual performance, and improving gross profit margins.
• Strong background in contractor management, including performance oversight, compliance, and commercial negotiation.
