What You'll Do

As a key member of CIDO team, you'll work across disciplines to ensure software meets real-world needs—functionally, technically, and compliantly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading requirements gathering for software development projects, with a focus on product functionality and data requirements
  • Documenting clear, actionable product and data requirements, including user stories, workflows, data dictionary and acceptance criteria
  • Translating regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH etc.) into software specifications
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and compliance teams to embed regulatory requirements into the development lifecycle
  • Supporting validation, testing, documentation and stakeholder reviews to ensure alignment and quality

What You Bring

We're seeking someone who's analytical, collaborative, and mission driven.

Must-have experience:

  • 5+ years' experience and proven track record in software product development projects as a Technical Business Analyst
  • Experience with facilitating workshops with large group of stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in documenting product and data requirements, technical solution design, product documentation incl. technical specs.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, government, human services) or organizations developing software products for regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Bonus points for:

  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid development methodologies
  • Knowledge of interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
  • Exposure to GenAI or emerging technologies in healthcare
