Technical BA Business Analyst

  • Experience level - APS6 equivalent (Rate on offer $116 including super)
  • Location of work - NSW
  • Working arrangements : Hybrid
  • Maximum hours : 38 hours per week
  • Security clearance : Must be able to obtain Baseline

Requirements Analysis

  - Collaborate with other business analysts, data modellers and technical business analysts in the translation of data integration requirements to appropriate technical specifications.

  - Work closely with data engineers and testers to document detailed requirement tickets ensuring adequate detail is captured and appropriate documentation for acceptance criteria and "Definition of done".

Release Management

   - Develop and execute a transition plan to move the data solution from project phase into BAU support

Stakeholder Communication

  - Serve as the primary point of contact between the business, IT teams, and external vendors during the migration process.

Desired experience and capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a related role with a strong focus working with complex data solutions.
  • Proven experience of large-scale complex data projects including, migrating from on-premises to cloud platforms
  • Understanding of Databricks, Azure Data Services, and related technologies.
  • Experience in working with BAU teams from new product support perspective
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and propose actionable solutions.
