About the role

Ricks Artisan Pies and Sourdough is seeking a passionate Barista to join our team in Noosaville, Queensland. In this casual position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at our front counter, preparing high-quality coffee drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate the espresso machine to prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and flat whites
  2. Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service at the front counter
  3. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout your shift
  4. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed
  5. Contribute to a positive team environment and provide excellent customer service

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or food service environment
  2. Strong knowledge of coffee-making techniques and an understanding of different coffee drinks
  3. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality
  4. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  6. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends.
