Laguna Retirement Estate is seeking a warm and capable Administration and Facilities Assistant to support our residents and staff over the weekend. Weekend penalty rates apply.

About the Role

This important weekend role ensures smooth front office operations and provides peace of mind to residents, families, and staff. As the first point of contact on weekends, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting and assisting visitors, residents, and clients
  • Answering phone and in-person queries professionally and helpfully
  • Monitoring emergency phones during office hours and attending call-outs where necessary
  • Providing administrative support, including basic accounts processing
  • Supporting the weekday team with a smooth handover of information
  • General cleaning and upkeep of the front office space

This role is autonomous and requires a dependable individual who can manage tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, Xero Accounting and general office procedures
  • A caring attitude and respect for older people
  • Previous experience in administration or customer service is desirable
  • First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to undertake)
  • National Police Check
