We're seeking a passionate and experienced Trainer to join our Victorian Training Team at National Patient Transport (NPT). This full-time role is responsible for delivering internal training across clinical compliance, induction, ongoing professional development, and competency assessments for road crews and operational staff.

You'll work closely with NPT's clinical and operational leaders to ensure our teams are confident, capable, and aligned with national standards and NPT's HEART values.

About the Role
  • Full-time position based at Mitcham with regular travel across Victoria
  • Flexible scheduling – typically weekdays, with occasional early starts or overnight travel
  • May include interstate training support from time to time
  • Work collaboratively with the Training Manager and operational leadership
What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering training for mandatory skills compliance and refresher programs
  • Facilitating induction programs for new staff and providing coaching during early shifts
  • Conducting competency and driver assessments for staff across multiple roles
  • Supporting VET delivery (HLT31120 Cert III NEPT) in partnership with NPT Heart RTO
  • Maintaining training records and documentation in line with compliance standards
  • Assisting in the development of new training materials and course content
  • Identifying training needs and skills gaps through collaboration with managers and crews
You're the Right Fit If You Have:
  • Diploma of Emergency Health Care or equivalent
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116) OR equivalent skill set
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, ideally with experience training adults in health or transport
  • A current, unrestricted driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel to regional locations as required
  • Ability to confidently manage a training room, adapt to learner needs, and maintain compliance
