Qualifications & experience

• Applicants must have a basic electronics background
• The ability to identify electrical components by name and colour, appearance and determine polarity
• An understanding of Electronic Static Discharge (ESD) handling and storage
• Knowledge of basic loading of electronic components onto circuit boards.
• Familiarity with following Quality Procedures and work instructions
• Great attention to detail
• Reliability, passion and motivation

Tasks & responsibilities

• Basic testing of printed circuit board assemblies using test jigs.
• Fault finding in printed circuit board assemblies.
• Repairing faulty tested boards by hand soldering.
• Identifying unrepairable faults and reporting them.
• Assisting with other manual tasks in the PCB assembly process.
• Ensuring all Assembly meets quality standards.
