The Role
As the Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our accounting firm, managing front-desk duties with professionalism and enthusiasm. This role suits a natural communicator who enjoys structure and is eager to grow within the position long-term.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the duties for the position include but are not limited to:
- Answer and redirect all incoming calls
- Manage diaries for the partner and senior client managers
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for client and accountant requests. Payment arrangements and various report extractions
- Maintain accurate client records in software databases
- Assist with invoicing, payments, and general administrative tasks such as printing and copying
- Greeting clients and offering them a drink
- Keeping boardrooms and reception areas tidy
Requirements
- Confident and friendly demeanour
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- 1–2 years' experience in a receptionist role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong diary management skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and quick to learn new software
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 per year
