THE TEAM
The Marketing team oversees all campaigns for Ticketmaster clients and consumers. The teamwork in accordance with local marketing strategies to maximise ticket sales across multiple events. The Marketing team provides marketing services support across all areas of the business and develop/drive new marketing initiatives to support Ticketmaster products.

THE JOB
The Client Marketing Manager will be working with the team on exciting events for Venues NSW alongside other sporting events. You are responsible for successfully delivering marketing campaigns for Ticketmaster's sports clients and consumers.

They will be responsible for executing, and continually evaluating, each campaign in accordance with the local marketing strategy, working towards maximising ticket sales across multiple sporting events.

You will have enthusiasm for sport and some knowledge of local fan bases and or consumers. You will love all things digital and multi-channel marketing. With a hunger to grow and learn, you'll be a self-starter and great team player that contributes to the wider objectives of the business.

You understand the importance of relationship building, are fast on your feet, and have a keen eye for detail especially when it comes to analytics.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide marketing services support across all areas of the business.
  • Working closely with the sales and client services teams, to help develop and implement marketing plans and programs to drive ticket sales for venues and sporting organisations
  • Develop and drive new marketing initiatives to support Ticketmaster products.
  • Implement key consumer promotion to help drive ticket sales and acceptance of Ticketmaster's ancillary products.
  • Produce compelling post event reports – provide key online metrics, recommendations and insights.
  • Help coordinate the development of marketing research and insight projects into Australia's sporting industry.
  • Liaise with International marketing, Regional Area teams and Ticketmaster Clients nationally to devise regular schedules for updating and coordinating marketing services.
  • Liaise with sport clients' marketing teams to ensure flow of information, images and artwork for event promotional content.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to maximise the performance of specific events and find promotional opportunities within the Ticketmaster database.
  • Work closely with the social, content & communication manager to help amplify event exposure and support the fan experience during on sales
  • Identify opportunities for clients to utilise Ticketmaster's performance marketing channels, secure budgets and manager the optimisation of campaigns.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • 5+ years' experience is successfully managing digital marketing campaigns within an agency/ face-paced environment
  • Proficient in creating social content and marketing strategic recommendations for best use of content in digital
  • Experience managing Facebook Pages, Facebook Ads, Instagram, Google AdWords, Google Analytics
  • Fluent knowledge of the contemporary digital environment and ability to keep up to date with trends in this space.
  • Experience with a DMP, DSP, Marketing automation, etc, will be highly regarded as will a tertiary qualification in Business/ Marketing
  • Shows a proven track record working in a high-performance marketing team in a face paced industry
  • Experience in ticketing, live events, venue management, promoting, e-business, media or entertainment industries preferred.

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to build effective relationships with a broad range of people from junior staff to senior leaders across the business and clients.
  • Ability to relate to people on all levels by quickly establishing rapport and maintain effective business relationships. Must always show initiative and be proactive. Must have a strong commitment to the provision of service excellence.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time to ensure deadlines and business needs are met. Ability to negotiate and set targets and prioritise workloads accordingly.
  • Can obtain briefs, devise strategies and create programs. Must be able to forward plan to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to identify potential problems and devise and implement strategies to resolve the problem.
  • Demonstrated ability to accommodate and adapt changing needs of the business in a highly pressured working environment. Also demonstrates the ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Shows a proven track record working in a high-performance marketing team in a face paced industry
