Clinical Nurse Clinical Facilitator

Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to:
Reporting to the Queensland Digital Academy (QDA), Nurse Educator this role will support provide training and education in consultation with the QDA Nurse Educator and DMN Clinical Informatics, to build workforce capacity and promote a culture of learning in the clinical environment.
Provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and supports the general function of units through role modelling and application of the principles of best practice, education, leadership and portfolio management.
Provide training, development and education from an operational perspective, in consultation with the Nurse Educator, to build nursing workforce capacity and promote a culture of learning in the clinical environment.
Context and Delegations
This role reports directly to the Nurse Educator, QDA.
This role will work directly with staff across Metro North Health.
This role has no financial and human resource delegations.
