About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time employee working up to 9 shifts per fortnight. You will be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and possess clinical experience.
Reporting to the Care Manager, you will coordinate quality nursing services and ensure that all nurses and personal care workers are adhering to their scope of practice in clinical care. In addition to possessing broad clinical expertise and specialist knowledge, you must be an outstanding communicator and an active participant in continuous improvement activities.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Current AHPRA Registration and Police Check
- Strong clinical background with a minimum 5 years experience as a Clinical Nurse
- Provide leadership, support and education to the care team
- A comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Standards and audit processes
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, and their families
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care plans to facilitate optimal resident care
