Clinical Nurse

Your new role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse - Clinical Facilitator to join our team, playing a key leadership role in delivering specialist palliative care to patients with complex needs. Within this role you will:

Provide advanced clinical leadership and expert coordination in the management of palliative care patients/residents/clients.

Work autonomously within the healthcare team, using critical thinking to inform decision-making and care delivery.

Support education, research, and professional development through clinical facilitation and portfolio responsibilities.

Act as a professional leader in the ward or service area, including assuming leadership in the absence of the Nurse Grade 7.

About you:

You are a highly skilled and compassionate nurse with a passion for palliative care and a commitment to excellence in clinical practice and education. In addition, you will have:

Strong clinical and problem-solving skills with experience in managing complex care needs.

Proven capability in facilitating education, supporting staff development, and contributing to research and quality improvement.

The ability to effectively manage portfolios and uphold national standards in safety and quality care.
