What will your typical day look like?
We are looking for experienced and dynamic Managers to join our rapidly growing Industrials and Infrastructure team in Canberra.

As a member of the team, you will provide exceptional client service and develop your skills and experience through:

  • Applying structured problem-solving approaches to design and deliver some of the most visible and important national programs across the Defence, National Security and wider government sectors – from shipbuilding and enhancing energy resilience through transition, to transforming operating models for how Defence procures some of its most important sensitive assets and services.
  • Using your project and program management skills to manage and lead highly effective teams, while guiding junior colleagues to build strong client relationships on the ground.
  • Leading business development opportunities, including supporting with the development of proposals for new client engagements, and implementing firm-wide initiatives.

You will be supported with extensive strategy, transformation and project & program management focused training and development (both structured and on the job).

In response to strong client demand for our services, we have multiple roles for outstanding Manager and Senior Manager level practitioners.

You are a highly motivated individual with:

  • 5 - 12 years e xperience in leading complex projects / programs or procurements in a client facing/advisory role, either in-house or in a Consulting environment. This may include project controls, strategy and planning, commercial procurement, engineering, governance, benefits realisation, and/or business case development.
  • Experience in leading key P3M functions, including Risks and Issues, Benefits Management, Schedule Management, etc. Especially in a Federal Government or Defence environment.
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage and lead stakeholder conversations at the executive and working level.
  • Curiosity to learn and passionate about developing yourself and others.
  • Excited to collaborate and foster a strong team environment to solve complex business problems.
  • Australian citizenship.
  • NV1 or higher clearance preferred – or a minimum AGSVA Baseline clearance and the ability to gain NV1 clearance.

The following experience is preferred but not essential:

  • Previous consulting experience including strategy and operating model design.
  • Complex Defence capability management and/or program delivery.
  • P3M experience in Defence, including with OPP, Predict, ODCS, etc.
  • Infrastructure program and project delivery.
  • Energy sector incl. liquid fuels.
  • Data analysis and dashboard development.
  • Complex asset maintenance.
  • Supply chain resilience.
