Purpose:

To construct and/or
maintain Council's road network and other assets to required service level
standards through the provision of skilled plant operations, in particular Grader,
Roller, Water and Gravel Haulage, Loader, Excavator, Backhoe operations and
Labourer support.

Mandatory and Highly Desirable Qualifications and Licences:

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate that you will be able to meet the below mandatory requirements for the role:

  • Current
    HC (Heavy Combination) Class Driver Licence
  • General Construction Induction (White) Card
  • Maranoa
    Regional Council Verification of Skill Level to Competently Operate Plant (in
    particular, Grader, Roller,
    Water and Gravel Haulage, Loader, Excavator, Backhoe)(In-house
    assessment)
  • Traffic Management Implementation (Desirable)
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction –
    Road Construction and Maintenance (or equivalent) (Desirable)

Details and Benefits:

  • Permanent, Full-Time - 38hours per week
  • Maranoa Regional Council Certified Agreement Stream B - Level 6-8
  • Maranoa Locality Allowance - $72.00per fortnight
