Western Downs, Australia Programmed Skilled Workforce Full time $104,000 - $130,878 per year

We are seeking experienced Plant Operator/Labourers in Roma to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in maintenance and infrastructure projects and be committed to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation/replacement of water & sewer services
  • Driving Council trucks &/or operating light/heavy plant & equipment
  • Trenching, pipe laying, backfilling & site restoration
  • Assisting with reactive & planned maintenance
  • Occasional after-hours & weekend emergency call-outs
  • Manual Handling/General Labouring

Requirements:

  • Experience in local government, utilities, or civil construction (preferred)
  • Current MR (or higher) driver's licence (desired)
  • White Card (WHS Construction Induction)
  • Ability to work safely & follow procedures
  • Willingness to be on an after-hours roster
  • Experience Operating heavy plant and equipment
  • ability to pass pre employment medical police check including drug and alcohol
