Geelong Grammar School is seeking a visionary IT Security Manager to lead our cyber security strategy and operations. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world's leading coeducational boarding and day schools, where innovation, integrity, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. This opportunity is a full time, ongoing role.

About the role:

  • Drive strategic cyber security initiatives across the School
  • Develop and implement robust security policies and procedures
  • Lead and mentor teams to build a culture of cyber awareness
  • Monitor threats, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate to support the GGS Digital Strategy and Curriculum

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in cyber security leadership
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and technologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and change management skills
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001)
  • A courageous, curious, and collaborative mindset
