Implementation Manager

Do you thrive on delivering projects? We're looking for someone who will lead and drive the onboarding of new retail utility services — from the first conversation with a developer to the moment the network goes live.

In this role, you'll be the coordinator between developers, clients, commercial water customers, internal teams, and contractors, making sure permanent power, and water connections are available, contracts are managed, metering and solutions are complete, and accurate details for operations team are delivered on time. Your focus will be on anticipating challenges, removing roadblocks and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. If you've worked in energy, construction, or utilities and you're organised, detail-savvy, and a great communicator, you'll fit right in.

Altogether is a sustainable multi-utility providing drinking water, recycled water and wastewater services, embedded energy networks and hot water systems to communities including greenfield and urban infill communities.

In total, Altogether is providing utility services to over 400 communities and ultimately 100,000 customers by 2025.

We are looking for a Community Implementation Manager who is super-organised, detail-loving, people-person who is able to be the go-to person making sure new developments and other embedded network take over opportunities get smoothly connected to their utility retail services. You'll be adept at juggling timelines, wrangling schematics, and talking to everyone from sales teams to site electricians and water operators.

What you will be doing in this role

• Being the contact for developers, keeping them in the loop on onboarding timelines and milestones.
• Making sure building schematics and utility diagrams are spot-on and billing-ready.
• Organising permanent power contracts and connections
• Organising large commercial customer water and waste water contracts and connections
• Coordinating across Sales, Energy Solutions, Water Asset Planners, Commercial, and Customer Ops to make sure everyone's on the same page.
• Overseeing metering schedules, service agreements, and handover packages so projects are ready to go live without a hitch.
• Helping manage developer accounts in the interim phase until everything transitions to BAU.

What you will bring to the role and company

• Ideally a tertiary qualification in energy, construction management, project coordination, asset management — or you've just learnt it all on the job.
• 3–5 years in energy services, asset management, embedded networks, or utilities onboarding.
• A good grasp of the electricity and gas industries, especially embedded networks and metering.
• Hands-on experience with metering, permanent power connections, or developer-side utility coordination.
• Comfortable using CRM tools like Zoho or Zendesk Sell.
• Solid Excel and Word skills (we know… but trust us, they're important).
