We're seeking confident, energetic Cover Instructors to run creative, high-energy 30-minute classes in childcare centres across the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
What You'll Do
- Deliver fun, interactive 30-minute classes using music, dance, storytelling and imaginative play to children aged 0–5 in childcare centres.
- Fill in for regular instructors when sick or on leave (sometimes booked ahead, sometimes same-day)
- Minimum of 2 classes per shift (weekdays, school hours)
What You'll Need
- Experience in performance, dance, fitness, or early childhood education
- Energy, confidence, reliability & professionalism
- Working With Children Check, First Aid, and ABN (all essential)
- Reliable car to transport props and costumes between classes (essential)
- Available at least 3 weekdays (Tues–Thurs preferred)
- Must have permanent work rights with no restrictions
Please note: This role is not suitable for high school students, working holiday visa holders, or those requiring sponsorship. Consistency is essential for the children and childcare centres we work with.
What We Offer

- Accept only the cover shifts that suit you
- Fun, supportive team & optional extra work (parties/incursions)
