Our client is a busy, long-established, mid-sized central Gold Coast accounting firm. They pride themselves on being traditional in their values and service, however, progressive in terms of marketing strategies and the implementation of IT systems and AI. 

Due to the ever-changing landscape of public practice, this firm's Practice Manager is busy with new projects; therefore, they are seeking a very special person to support the Practice Manager, management team, accountants and the administration team. 

This is a newly created exciting role; no two days will be the same. It offers variety and challenge. Your duties and responsibilities will be wide-ranging including relieving the Practice Manager of some of their duties and responsibilities in particular responding to queries from team members, training the administration team on new systems and procedures, budgeting and reporting for the accountants, supporting and relieving the other administration team members for holidays, etc. educating and assisting with AI integration, facilitating fortnightly administration meetings + much more.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' Australian CA or CPA accounting firm Client Services Officer experience and be familiar with the accounting profession's various software packages and reporting systems and MS Office, including advanced Excel.

You will also provide vital administrative support including document preparation, filing, data entry, and calendar management, while ensuring client records are accurately maintained.  

To succeed, you will have at least 2 years' experience in a professional office environment (with accounting firm experience highly regarded), proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent typing and clerical skills and strong organizational abilities to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
