The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to join our Executive Team and lead ABCO Water's core business support functions.

This pivotal leadership role oversees Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, Compliance, and Business Support Coordination, ensuring our operations run efficiently, sustainably, and in line with our strategic objectives.

You'll play a key role in shaping internal systems and processes including managing and optimising MYOB Acumatica (Acumatica ERP) - while providing strategic and operational leadership that supports our growth and governance excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Business Services team across Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, and Business Support
  • Provide financial leadership including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Oversee governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
  • Act as System Owner for MYOB Acumatica, driving integration and performance across departments
  • Oversee procurement and supplier management to ensure efficiency and value
  • Lead HR operations including onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Ensure effective IT management, cybersecurity, and data integrity
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and alignment with business strategy
  • Mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 -10 years' experience in business services or senior management leadership
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with a strategic mindset
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Advanced understanding of MYOB Acumatica (or similar ERP systems)
  • Experience managing procurement, compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Management (CPA/CA desirable)
