The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as soon as possible:

Role: Pick up and Delivery Driver (MR licence)

Location: Darwin

Expected Hours of Work:3 day week with early starts

Monday: 5:00am - 1:30pm (+OT)

Tuesday: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Friday: 5:00am - 1:30pm (+OT)

Occasional Wednesdays when required

The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

  • Perform multi-drop deliveries and pickups (general freight and pallet deliveries) daily, some of which will be hand unloaded
  • Assist in manual unloading of parcel freight from morning trailers
  • Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks of your assigned vehicle
  • Maintain all freight, parcels and documentation.

About you:

  • Minimum manual MR Licence
  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
  • Multi drop exp. in a similar company (minimum 12 months)
  • No more than 8 demerit points accumulated on licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including D & A test
  • Be prepared to provide a current licence history report for the previous five years
  • Able to provide at least two employment references
  • Full permanent working rights in Australia.
