Mercer Couriers is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Moffett Truck Driver to join our team in the Greater Darwin region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, working across multiple delivery sites, and taking pride in providing efficient and professional service.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for transporting and delivering palletised freight, construction materials, and other goods using a truck-mounted Moffett forklift. This includes loading and unloading freight at customer locations, ensuring safe handling, and representing the Mercer Couriers brand with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a HR-class truck fitted with a rear-mounted Moffett forklift
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and follow all vehicle safety procedures
  • Load and unload freight efficiently using the Moffett forklift
  • Deliver to a mix of commercial and residential sites around Greater Darwin
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism

Requirements

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • HR Class driver's licence (Moffett licence or experience highly regarded)
  • Strong awareness of safety and load restraint procedures
  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
  • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
  • Willingness to provide a police clearance and driver history report
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years previous truck driving & forklift experience required
