About the role

Nighthawk Transport is seeking experienced van, heavy rigid (HR/HC) and multi-combination (MC) drivers to join our team in both Darwin and Katherine, Northern Territory. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work as and when required to support our growing transport and logistics operations.

Darwin: 17 Nebo Road, East Arm

Katherine: 41 Chardon Street

What you'll be doing

  • Safely transporting goods and materials across the Northern Territory using a variety of vehicle types, including vans, heavy rigid trucks and multi-combination vehicles
  • Loading and unloading vehicles as required
  • Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining accurate trip logs and documentation
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times

What we're looking for

  • A valid driver's licence for the relevant vehicle class (van, HR/HC or MC)
  • A valid car licence (C class) is required for van driving positions
  • Applicants need only hold one relevant licence class and may apply for any of the available vehicle categories
  • At least 1 year of experience driving the relevant vehicle type
  • Previous experience within the transport and logistics industry is highly desirable
  • Strong safety focus and commitment to safe driving practices
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • All work rights are accepted for this position
