Grand Pacific Health (GPH) is a for-purpose community-based organisation. GPH provides high quality health services to assist people in the management of their physical and mental health. GPH's mission is to provide equitable heath care with an emphasis on helping vulnerable and at risk of disadvantage populations as well as regional communities.
GPH employs over 400 staff including many qualified health and other professionals including peer workers and community workers. GPH operations cover a large regional geographical footprint in NSW and ACT.
About The Position
Due to recent growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager who has a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of our community. You will lead a suite of programs at Grand Pacific Health including Alcohol and Other Drugs and Chronic Pain Programs. You will be responsible for program management, continuous improvement, and ensuring services meet contract deliverables and best practice standards. A passion for improving health and wellbeing is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day team leadership for staff including rostering, monitoring client intake, providing debriefing and ongoing support
- Manage budgetary requirements and report against deliverables in accordance with funding and organisational requirements
- Build strong relationships and engagement with key internal and external stakeholders
- Identify the psychosocial and mental health needs of the community and recommend strategies for service improvement and accessibility
This is a full time, fixed term opportunity until June 2027 and you will be based at Queanbeyan, with travel between different locations and services as required. Part-time applications will be considered.
We Are Looking For Someone With
- Relevant qualifications in a health discipline (allied health, nursing, peer work, health promotion or Aboriginal Health)
- Previous experience in health, mental health or community service management roles
- Demonstrated leadership experience of a multi-disciplinary team including planning for and delivering on team objectives and deliverables, monitoring and developing team and individual performance.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and consultation skills to work effectively with all stakeholders and achieve positive outcomes
