About the Role

Due to company growth, CareSouth is looking for an experienced Caseworker to support two residential homes located in Queanbeyan in a fulltime permanent capcity

A day in the life of a Caseworker

As a Caseworker you will be a part of a team which works dynamically across the child protection spectrum. A typical day could include:

You will work closely with the young people in our OOHC service to support the development of their independent living skills, engagement with education, social skills and community engagement.
You will participate in planning and delivery of structured activities, play an active role in implementing and supporting household routines
Supportive collaboration with a diverse team to share knowledge and insight to help achieve best outcomes for children and young people
Documenting children and young people's goals, journey and milestones
Helping children and young people achieve permanency so they have a home for life.
