About the role

As the New Car Sales Manager for Queanbeyan Toyota, you will take responsibility for the New Car Sales result. Reporting direct to the Dealer Principal you will devise and implement strategies and processes to ensure that the new car budgets and associated KPI's are met or exceeded. Fundamental to success will be the provision of strong leadership, continuous 'on the job' training and a mentoring style relationship with individual sales consultants to ensure each has the knowledge and skills to meet their targets. This is a 'hands on' role with room for growth and career development.

Required skills and experience

  • Proven track record in automotive retail sector or similar
  • Experience in successfully working to budgets, sales plans and KPI's.
  • Ability to assist team in all aspects of the sales process, maximising sales from every enquiry.
  • Willingness to perform tasks beyond expectation
  • Planning, organisational and management skills.
  • Advanced negotiation and sales skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
