What you'll be doing

As the Corporate Services Operations Manager, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership for corporate services across WSLHD facilities, ensuring governance, efficiency and alignment with patient-centred care. You will oversee planning, performance, and service delivery while building capability, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of corporate services supporting hospital operations
  • Establish robust governance frameworks ensuring compliance and quality standards
  • Develop and implement operational and financial plans aligned to clinical service goals
  • Manage budgets, assets and workforce resources efficiently and transparently
  • Drive leadership development, succession planning and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health or business discipline and /or relevant diverse experience in a management related field relevant to the position.
  • Demonstrated superior leadership and team management skills, particularly in managing staff and budgetary resources, to ensure provision of high-quality and patient centric services.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills. Demonstrated consulting and negotiation skills necessary to establish relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop and implement sound and innovative strategies, policies, or strategic responses.
  • A broad knowledge of all aspects of health service environments including structures, policies, procedures, personnel and a substantial operating knowledge of government policies and procedures.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the principles, structures, and process of governance in the public sector context including experience of risk management frameworks.
  • High level of stakeholder and significant experience in leading and/or managing Projects.
  • Current drivers licence valid in Australia and willingness to use for work purposes.
