Company Description

Global Commodities and Shipping Pty Ltd is an Australian- based international trading and shipping company specializing in the import and export of agricultural commodities ( lentils, chickpeas, wheat, sesame seeds, and etc.) With branches in New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India and the Middle East. we are now expanding into China and seeking a dynamic Business Development Contractor to help drive our growth.

What you'll do

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Officer, located in China. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform strategy. Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials. Collaborate with the International team to execute business plans. Communicate with clients and finalize business deals.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or client management in China
  • Strong understanding of the local market and business culture.
  • Excellent communication and ability to negotiate and finalize business deals independently.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Existing network or direct relations with end consumers and buyers in China
  • Fluent in Mandarin, English preferred.
