The Opportunity

  • Deliver and review work related to systems and safety assurance in areas such as Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, Integration, and Safety Cases.
  • Operate independently on defined tasks or projects, managing your time and workload effectively.
  • Communicate technical information clearly within teams and to stakeholders, following Arup's quality processes.
  • Engage with clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies, representing Arup with professionalism and insight.
  • Support knowledge-sharing within the team and contribute to continual professional development (CPD).

Is this role right for you?

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a strong understanding of the systems lifecycle and key standards (e.g. ISO 15288, ISO 29148, CENELEC 50126/8/9).
  • Experience or demonstrated capability in systems and/or safety assurance, ideally within transport.
  • Professional membership (e.g. Engineers Australia) and/or Chartered Status is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A collaborative, motivated attitude and the ability to perform under pressure while supporting others.
