About The Role
About Power Systems Planning at DNV

DNV provides state-of-the-art power system modelling in generation and transmission/ distribution systems for network operators, regulators, developers, asset managers, EPC's and OEM's. Our clients enjoy the benefits of DNV's global knowledge and deep technical expertise.

About You
Critical Attributes

• Demonstrated success in large scale renewable connections, registration and commissioning according to the Australian National Electricity Rules.
• Positive problem-solving mentality and great communication skills.
• Proficiency with power system analysis tools - PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Python

Key Responsibilities And Experience Relevant For The Role

• Bachelor of electrical engineering / power systems (Masters viewed favourably)
• 4+ years of industry experience, with Australian work experience viewed favourably
• Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage.
• Ability to work independently to solve complex tasks
• Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with clients
• Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting to the client
• Familiarity with applicable standards, i.e. IEC, IEEE
• Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment
