Driven by a dynamic innovation and growth agenda, the role of Sales Director has been created to take the business through its next phase of evolution and expansion.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Sales Director is responsible for the development and implementation of effective strategies to identify and acquire new customers while deepening and broadening relationships with existing ones. They are accountable for establishing and maintaining valuable, long-term partnerships with key client stakeholders that support continued innovation and diversification for the business.

The ability to provide exceptional leadership to the Sales team is essential, as is the intellect and humility required to add value to the broader leadership and direction of the company, as a critical member of the Senior Leadership Team.

This role has a strong focus on creating strategic initiatives that further the growth and evolution of CarbonLink while staying true to the company's Mission and Vision.

A background in effective contract development and finalisation is required and the executive maturity to operate as a trusted advisor to clients while guiding them through long term negotiations.

The successful candidate will be purpose driven, with a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic and operational business development activities that have delivered exceptional sales results, preferably in FMCG, Financial Services and Agri related sectors.

They will have a deep understanding of initiating, developing and maintaining enduring customer relationships and partnerships, within a complex client landscape requiring long term investment and commitment.
