PLAION is a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products (games, films and software) with over 25 years of experience and is the number one partner for publishers in Europe. The company's own publishing activities, marketing and distribution extend throughout Europe, North America and Asia. Since expanding to Australia with the acquisition of 18point2 in February 2019, PLAION has grown to lead the ANZ market for independent publishing and distribution. Following a company restructure in 2022, the Sydney office has become the regional hub for Asia Pacific.

Reporting to the Sales and Business Development Manager and supported by the Commercial Manager, the Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales and operational functions across PLAION. This role is responsible for supporting key account relationships, coordinating promotional activities, and ensuring the smooth execution of sales strategies across retail. This role primarily covers PLAION Partner products in the licenced merchandise and accessories category and where required will provide support for video game published products for PLAION as well as all third-party partners.

The candidate will be highly motivated, passionate, and energetic with a track record of collaboration and teamwork. Working as part of our experienced team, the candidate will nurture business relationships with our retail partners and will be capable of multitasking. Managing conflicting priorities, delivering quality work with a high level of attention to detail and high productivity will be key to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Assist in completing product registration forms, promotional plans and new submission templates.

· Ensure retail product listings are accurate and live on a timely basis and following up as necessary, particularly for Amazon to ensure optimisation of our products on the platform.

· Prepare retail sales presentations.

· Provide timely forecasts across New Release and Catalogue activations to ensure manufacturing deadlines are met.

· Validate retailer claims and follow up any discrepancies.

· Work with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of product to retail.

· Update retailers with new and information changes to upcoming product releases.

· Support sales in execution of trade marketing plans.

· Managing assets from various partners and following up as necessary with internal or external stakeholders.

· Participation in the planning process and execution phases of trade and consumer events.

Knowledge/Skills/Characteristics required:

· High levels of attention to detail.

· Deadline and results driven.

· Absolute discretion and confidentiality with high levels of professionalism

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Able to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

· Able to operate with high levels of initiative.

· Proficient computer skills with an in-depth knowledge of MS Office suite including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Intermediate Adobe photoshop skills preferred.

Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, working in the video game or another entertainment industry organisation. A passion and knowledge of video games. Be commercially aware and be customer service driven. You will be an organised, "can-do" type of person with high levels of attention to detail. Enjoy a fast-paced work environment, have a strong work ethic and be a great team player.
