We are a well-established Indian restaurant located in the heart of St Kilda, and we are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic bartender to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about mixology, and can create unique and memorable cocktails that complement our Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a timely and professional manner

- Assist guests in selecting drinks and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Keep the bar area clean and stocked, and maintain inventory of supplies

- Ensure compliance with all liquor laws, regulations and procedures

- Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, and provide exceptional customer service

- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar

- Experience in making creative and innovative cocktails is a must

- Good knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer, and ability to recommend pairings with food

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- RSA certification is mandatory
