Position Overview

This is a high-impact warehouse management role wherein you'll lead from the front: owning systems and processes, setting the standard, and driving performance. No shortcuts—just clear outcomes and full accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to strategically oversee the end-to-end supply chain lifecycle, aligned with our values and business objectives.

  • Warehousing & Yard Management:

  • Lead warehouse teams nationally (Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle; future Brisbane).

  • Standardise layouts, safety, and performance.
  • Oversee Sydney's scaffold yard operations — gear inspection, cleaning, repair, and dispatch.
  • Guarantee DIFOT excellence: Own delivery performance across all locations—every order delivered in full, on time, within 48 hours of payment. Track performance relentlessly and raise the standard, contributing to 5-star customer reviews.
  • Safeguard stock integrity: Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through audits and controls; manage stock levels, picking, packing, dispatch, and third-party freight coordination.
  • Enforce system-driven accountability: No verbal deals. Ensure every quote, invoice, and stock transaction flows through approved systems—accurate, visible, and auditable. Stay on top of sales orders, update statuses in Hirepos, and manage deliveries with our logistics partners.
  • Risk Management: Anticipate and manage supply risks, delays, and cost fluctuations. Ensure WHS, ISO, and Chain of Responsibility compliance.
  • Build & Coach High-Performance Warehouse Teams: Recruit, coach, and lead teams that operate with precision, discipline, and accountability. Embed a culture of operational excellence—and scale it across every branch.
  • Own National Performance & Launch Brisbane: Take full ownership of warehouse performance across Sydney, Melbourne, and Newcastle. Lead the setup of our new Brisbane branch, ensuring layout, safety, and systems meet national standards and are built to scale.

What the Right Candidate Looks Like

  • Bring 5–10 years' experience as manager or second-in charge in warehousing, distribution, inventory, transport, and safety functions across multi-site or high-volume environments.
  • Qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
  • Experience in FMCG, industrial, or construction-related environments (highly regarded).
  • Proficient in digital systems and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Ideally located within 30–40 minutes of Riverstone
