Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a proactive, passionate and creative individual to join our team. A strategic mindset will be essential, as you devise comprehensive plans to engage target audiences, nurture partnerships and manage online communities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various aspects of marketing, from social media management to events and promotional campaigns.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Social Media Management**: Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy across all platforms. Create engaging content and monitor analytics to drive awareness and engagement.
- **Content Creation & Distribution**: Design and distribute newsletters, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials to our target audience.
- **Merchandise Management**: Oversee the inventory, distribution, and promotional use of company merchandise. Ensure branding consistency in all products.
- **Event Management**: Assist in organising and managing company events, including trade shows, product launches, and corporate functions. Coordinate logistics and ensure events are executed seamlessly.
- **Sponsorship Opportunities**: Identify and manage potential sponsorship opportunities that align with our brand values and marketing goals.
- **Marketing Promotions**: Develop and implement marketing promotions, special offers, and campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- **General Administrative Duties**: provide additional support to ensure efficient daily operations

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a marketing or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools
- Graphic design skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative and innovative thinking with attention to detail
