AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold exploration and development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are now preparing to ramp up operations at our Nullagine Gold Project.

About the Role

We are ramping up exploration and looking for motivated team members to join us on our journey. As a Field Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the exploration team as we evaluate gold exploration targets across greenfields and brownfields projects.

This is a hands-on position that will see you involved in all aspects of field support - from sampling and drill site preparation to logistical support and data management. It is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team at an exciting stage of growth, while gaining exposure to diverse exploration programs.

This role will be FIFO from Perth, based on a 15 days on, 13 days off roster.

Key responsibilities of this role includes:

  • Assist with site clearance, preparation and rehabilitation.
  • Liaise with drilling contractors and provide on-site support.
  • Collect, prepare and dispatch drill samples for analysis.
  • Ensure quality control of drill core including metre marking, orientation, RQD and quantitative data collection.
  • Conduct rock and geochemical sampling and assist geologists with mapping.
  • Maintain field equipment, vehicles, supplies and camp services.
  • Provide logistical support for field programs, including survey tasks and data entry.
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Perform duties safely and efficiently in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements.

About you

  • Manual WA C Class driver's licence (essential).
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
  • Motivated and reliable with strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop skills.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office) and intermediate data entry ability.
  • Knowledge of GPS operation.
  • Previous drilling, geochemical sampling or core handling experience.
  • Experience in drill site preparation/rehabilitation.
