**Your new company**
Is an automation company that specialises in packaging machinery to a variety of manufacturing industries. They specialize and provide end-to-end services and are a leader in the industry both locally and globally. With success comes growth and they are now looking to expand their service team and recruiting a new Field Service Technician.

**Your new role**
As a Field Service Technician, you will provide technical support and maintenance services for packaging equipment at customer sites. Predominantly you will carry out onsite delivery and commission of machinery. In addition, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing packaging machinery to ensure smooth operation meeting the customer's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Travel to customer sites to provide technical support and maintenance services for packaging machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum performance and minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with packaging machinery.
- Repair and replace defective parts as required.
- Install new equipment and train customers on the operation and maintenance of the machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights in Australia
- Trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical. Preference would be Electrical
- NSW electrical licence, disconnect/reconnect licence or a Cert III in Electronics
- Prior experience in field service, maintenance, or installation of packaging machinery
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
