ELECTRICIAN/ FIELD TECHNICIAN

Recurrent Energy has vacancies to join our team at:

  • Location: Cunderdin Solar Farm - local Perth candidates can apply.
  • Base salary $128,440 plus 12% Super
  • Plus, Meal Allowance paid as per award
  • Overtime paid at award rates
  • Accommodation in Cunderdin supplied

  • Roster:

  • 8 days on, 6 days off.

  • 9.5 hour days plus 30 minute break (10hr day).

We're seeking motivated, organised and independent field technicians to play a rewarding role in exceptional maintenance of our solar farm's operations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issues
  • Developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training
  • Overseeing and supervising sub-contractors

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematics
  • Valid electrical qualifications license
  • HV electrical qualification desirable
  • Valid Australian drivers license
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solar
  • Willingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where required
  • Sound computer skills

You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train. Employment in this position is conditional upon completion of pre-employment medical screening.

Availability for on-call duties outside of regular hours may be required for certain shifts
