Senior & Underground Mine Surveyors

AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are now preparing to ramp up operations at our high grade Blue Spec gold and antimony project, kicking off in Q3 2025.

As we commence our underground operations, we are looking for two talented survey professionals to join our growing team: a Senior Underground Mine Surveyor to lead and mentor, and an Underground Mine Surveyor to deliver critical day-to-day survey support to our mining operations.

Senior Underground Mine Surveyor

As the Senior Underground Mine Surveyor, you will play a vital leadership role in the safe, accurate and efficient execution of all underground surveying activities. You will guide the survey team, maintain statutory compliance and provide essential spatial data to support mine design, development and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and conduct survey activities for development, production, infrastructure and backfill.
• Maintain survey control networks and ensure spatial data integrity.
• Perform CMS scans, void modelling and support geotechnical monitoring.
• Deliver accurate data for mine planning, design compliance, and performance tracking.
• Ensure all survey work meets statutory and company requirements.
• Maintain survey records and submit end-of-month reports and statutory plans.
• Manage survey software and hardware (e.g. Deswik, Surpac).
• Lead and mentor surveyors and technicians to build team capability.
• Work collaboratively with mining, planning, geology, and engineering teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 1 Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate
• Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying, Mining Engineering, or related discipline
• Proven underground survey experience with strong leadership capability
• Excellent knowledge of survey compliance, technology, and data integrity

Underground Mine Surveyor

As an Underground Mine Surveyor, you will carry out critical underground survey tasks that support day-to-day mining operations. Your accurate and timely spatial data will help ensure safe, compliant and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pickups and mark-ups for development and production.
• Set out underground workings per mine designs.
• Conduct CMS scans and maintain accurate survey control points.
• Maintain and update the digital survey database and mine plans.
• Operate total stations, laser scanners, GPS, and related equipment.
• Process data using industry software (Deswik, Surpac).
• Support end-of-month reporting and compliance plans.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to meet site requirements.
• Assist in mentoring junior surveyors and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture in all survey tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying, Mining Engineering or related field
• Previous underground survey experience in a mining environment
• Familiarity with relevant software and survey hardware
• Strong attention to detail and spatial accuracy
